MATERIALS: BONE CHINA PORCELAIN, UNDERGLAZE CHALK CRAYON, TRANSPARENT GLAZE

Project 620ZERO66 (named as the postal code of the street I was born in) is about creating the dialogue between controversial materials and techniques. Sophisticated and complicated porcelain, which requires a lot of time and skills to be produced, on the one hand. And effortless emotional chalk graphics on it's surface on the other. The shape of each plate is unique and was born as a result of the dialog between the porcelain and the kiln (originally the plate was casted as a flat piece on a gesso board). This dialogues inspire us to trust the material itself, be able to play, appreciate simplicity and step beyond typical porcelain stereotypes.
